Cable Car Update

Climbing up with the aim to make Dominica home to the world’s longest mono-cable car, ABL Holdings Ltd, is making significant strides, positioning itself as the major contributor towards national growth and development.

It is to be noted that the company is at the forefront, transforming the island state into the premier destination for tourism within the Caribbean. In addition to the record-breaking world’s longest mono-cable car construction, ABL Holding’s remains committed in supporting the local community as well as the nation as a whole. Since the beginning of the construction of the cable car, the company’s involvement in sponsoring numerous initiatives designed to improve the local community is being appreciated by all.

These efforts include the regular maintenance of the boiling lake trail and the Waitukubuli trail, which connects the island from one side to another and is a major tourist attraction.

The project manager of cable car Project, Randall Gliege said that, “We have assembled a fine team of workers who are committed to the project and the upkeep of the local areas. Workers who are working in the jungle are ensuring that the trail remains clean and inviting for hikers. We are doing this by cutting  any overgrown bushes and are installing steps wherever required, to ensure that it is easy for people to walk on the trail.”

“We are not only building the world’s longest mono-cable car, but we are also taking care of the local community on this island, by supporting them whenever needed. We’re trying our best to preserve the natural beauty of the island,” says Gliege.

Moreover, the company’s efforts are not going unnoticed, as ABL Holdings Ltd has recently completed  fencing work of the Trafalgar community center playground. Alongside this, the company has also made a significant contribution towards the renovation of the elderly home in Galion by conducting paintwork to improve the aesthetic of the facility.
